Overview
I led the 0-to-1 product design of the Map Management System (MMS), Living Map’s proprietary enterprise CMS. The platform was built to empower non-technical client teams — such as operations managers, hospital administrators, and retail estate teams — to manage, update, and audit their own complex spatial data in real time. This work successfully transformed our operational delivery from a high-touch agency service into a true self-service platform, allowing us to quickly onboard clients and scale without expanding internal headcount.
Impact
The launch of the MMS completed Living Map's transition to an enterprise SaaS model, shifting data entry and QA accountability directly to venue owners and completely erasing the internal operational bottleneck. This transition drastically reduced post-launch customer support overheads, significantly boosting gross margins on enterprise accounts, and freeing up engineering teams to focus on severely stalled product road-map features. Ultimately, the platform provided the operational infrastructure necessary to accelerate global SaaS sales.
